I am a remote software engineer with over eight years of professional programming experience. Recently, I have been writing software in Ruby and have been working with the Ruby on Rails framework.
I hold a Bachelor’s of Arts in History with a Minor in Geography from Monmouth University. After a few trajectory changes throughout my undergraduate studies and early professional career, I have found my way in programming. I have always been fascinated by computers since an early age and continue to be fascinated by them to this day.
I have spent several years working with JavaScript, C#, and more recently, Ruby. The Ruby community has been very welcoming and I find that it mirrors the joys of the programming language itself.
